Your instructor
Your scuba course will be
taught by Doris Pfister, a PADI Master Scuba Instructor, with over 16 years
of teaching experience. Doris has been diving all over the world for more
than 19 years. She has experienced the beauty of Australia’s Great Barrier
Reef, the sheer walls of Sipadan, the "weird & wonderful" critters of Lembeh
Strait in Indonesia (the most bio-diverse underwater location on the
planet), the soft corals of Fiji and has been lucky enought to swim with a
40' long whale shark in Borneo and beautiful manta rays in the Similan
Islands (off the coast of Thailand) and in Komodo, Indonesia.
Living in Florida, Doris has easy access to the beautiful waters of the
Florida Keys and the pristine fresh water springs near Zephyrhills. Some of
her favorite locations include the crystal waters off Grand Cayman and the
coral walls in Cozumel, Mexico.
Doris has taken students from novice to Divemaster level during her teaching
career. She is also an avid skydiver with over 4000 jumps. When she’s not
teaching scuba, she jumping out of airplanes, or taking dive groups to
exotic destinations. Group trips that she has led over the past couple of
years include exotic Caribbean destinations such as Bonaire, Belize,
Dominica, Roatan, Turks & Caicos, Curacao, the Bahamas, and lobster trips to
the Florida Keys.
